Cookie Policy

What cookies are, which ones we use, what they do, and how to control them — applicable across all jurisdictions we operate in (USA, UK, Canada, Nigeria).

Effective: January 1, 2026 Last updated: May 7, 2026 Version: 2.4

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, remember preferences, analyse usage, and (sometimes) deliver targeted advertising.

This policy also covers similar technologies like local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels, and SDKs — collectively referred to as "cookies" throughout this document.

2. Why we use cookies

  • To make our website work (logging in, filling forms, processing payments).
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
  • To remember your preferences (language, country, dismissed banners).
  • To deliver relevant marketing — only with your consent where required by law.
  • To prevent fraud and protect against malicious activity.

3. Types of cookies we use

CategoryPurposeConsent required
EssentialMake the site workNo (legitimate interest)
Performance / AnalyticsMeasure how the site is usedYes (in UK/EU); optional opt-out elsewhere
FunctionalRemember preferencesYes (in UK/EU); optional opt-out elsewhere
Marketing / TargetingPersonalise ads, track campaignsYes (always)

4. Essential cookies

These are necessary for the website to function. Without them, you wouldn't be able to use core features (forms, secure areas, language switching). They cannot be turned off via consent.

5. Performance + analytics cookies

Help us understand how visitors interact with the website (which pages are popular, where users drop off). Aggregated, never identifies you personally.

6. Functional cookies

Remember preferences to make your visit more convenient.

7. Marketing + advertising cookies

Used only with your explicit consent. Help us measure ad campaigns and (where applicable) deliver personalised advertising on third-party sites.

8. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we embed (videos, maps, chat, fonts). These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies — we recommend reviewing them:

9. How to manage cookies

Via our cookie banner

When you first visit, our consent banner offers four options: Accept all, Reject all (except essential), Customise, or close the banner. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the link below.

Via your browser settings

You can also block or delete cookies via your browser. Note that essential cookies are required for the site to function — disabling them may prevent forms, audits, or login from working.

10. Do Not Track + Global Privacy Control

We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out for sale/sharing of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not yet act on Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because there is no consensus standard, but we treat enabled GPC equivalent to a "Reject all" choice in our consent banner.

UK + EU specific

Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), we only set non-essential cookies after you give explicit consent via our banner. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful use.

11. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove cookies, change vendors, or in response to legal updates. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie banner.
